Requirements:·Min. of 50% marks in 12th standard· Science stream with physics, mathematics and chemistry being compulsory subjects· In case you don’t have the mentioned subjects, you can opt for National Institute of open Schooling. The next step is to Enroll in a flying school and pursues B.sc in Aviation; forging ahead undergo written examination, pilot aptitude test, personal interview and DGCA Medical exam respectively. After 250+ flying hours, you can apply for Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
Indian Defense Forces (Air force)- for those who do not want to spend Lavishly on Pilot Training program and also want to serve your nation, Indian Defense forces can be your dream come true. The first step is to join the National Defense Academy (NDA) (for 16 ½ to 19 years). It consists of written exam, SSB interview Pilot Aptitude test and Medical examination. After Graduation: combined
Defense services examination (CDSE). The selected candidates are sent to Air Force Academy, Hyderabad and go through CDSE Entrance Procedure- written exam, SSB interview, Pilot Aptitude test and Medical Exam.
AFCAT entry to the Air force (SSC) – short service commission, under this; candidates cannot serve in the Indian Air Force for more than 14 years of period.
NCC Entry to the Air force –The Air wing senior Division ‘C’ certificates holder can join the Air force through the Directorate General National Cadet Corps.
